General Manager

The General Manager at The Edge Fitness Clubs leads all aspects of club operations to deliver an exceptional member experience in a high-energy, results-driven environment. You'll oversee staffing, scheduling, sales, and service, driving membership growth, retention, and profitability. This role manages P&L, budgeting, and KPIs while ensuring the facility is clean, safe, and fully operational. You'll recruit and develop a motivated team, model professional, positive behavior, and partner with training staff to promote classes and personal training. Ideal candidates are passionate about fitness, customer-focused, and skilled in leadership and execution.

Responsibilities

• Lead overall club operations, ensuring a clean, safe, high-energy environment that supports member results

• Own P&L performance, budgeting, and cost control to achieve revenue and profitability targets

• Drive membership growth through local marketing, outreach, and effective sales leadership

• Recruit, train, coach, and schedule staff across front desk, sales, and fitness teams

• Monitor member satisfaction, resolve escalated service issues, and model service-driven behavior

• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements

• Analyze KPIs (membership, retention, ancillary revenue) and implement improvement plans

• Partner with trainers and instructors to optimize class schedules and personal training sales

• Oversee facility maintenance, vendor relationships, and equipment uptime
