Finance Analyst - 3425 (3)

Talentmark are recruiting for a Finance Analyst to join a company in the pharmaceutical industry on a contract basis for 12 months . This role is hybrid , based in Basingstoke (3 days onsite). There is potential for extension.

Company: Our client is one of the largest pharmaceutical companies in the world. They focus on finding answers for some of the world's most urgent medical needs.

Salary: 21.37 to 27.16 per hour PAYE, depending upon experience .

Finance Analyst Role:

• Support the yearly business plan and the regular forecasts.

• Look after forecast models and track how accurate they are.

• Prepare month-end reports and comments in line with accounting policies.

• Work with budget owners to explain spend, variances and forecast accuracy.

• Work with teams such as Marketing, Supply Chain and HR. Give them clear financial advice.

• Use Claude and tools like Power Query to speed up analysis and automate repetitive tasks.

Your Background:

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or a related subject.

• Previous experience in FP&A, finance, accounting or a similar business role.

• Strong analytical skills. You can turn financial data into useful insights.

• Good Excel and PowerPoint skills. Power Query, Power BI, VBA or Python is a plus.

• Able to explain finance clearly to non-finance colleagues. Experience with generative AI tools or SAP/SAC is a plus.
