Job Description
E&I Engineer Offshore Survey 2 Weeks contract starting 05/10/26 We are looking for an experienced E&I Engineer to support an offshore rig/platform interface survey.
The role will involve carrying out E&I walkdowns and design verification to establish the requirements for the safe integration and subsequent commissioning of platform and rig systems.
Key Responsibilities:

Survey E&I interfaces including F&G, ESD, alarm and communications systems.

Inspect interface panels/JBs, cabling, power supplies, earthing and bonding arrangements.

Walk down and measure proposed cable routes, including catenary and support requirements.

Review existing drawings, cause & effect information, cable schedules and hazardous-area requirements.

Record site findings and provide information required for detailed design and commissioning.

Support development of signal matrices, test requirements, redlines and survey deliverables.
Required Certification / Requirements:

Valid offshore survival and medical certificates

Donut TBC
-
Clean shaven TBC
-
Escape chute
-
Previous offshore E&I engineering/survey experience

Strong knowledge of ESD, Fire & Gas, hazardous-area equipment and electrical/instrument interfaces Location: Blackpool, then on to Aberdeen Discipline: Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) Scope: Offshore survey / rig-platform interface
