Director of Human Resources

Highgate Hotels Corporate Office - NY seeks a Director of Human Resources to lead HR strategy for its hospitality portfolio. This role oversees talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, compensation and benefits, and compliance with federal, state, and local laws. The Director will partner with senior leadership to align HR programs with business goals, drive culture and engagement, and support multi-property leaders. Responsibilities include developing HR policies, leading organizational change, managing HR metrics, and mentoring HR staff in a fast paced, results oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead HR strategy aligned with Highgate's hospitality business goals

• Oversee talent acquisition and workforce planning for corporate and property teams

• Manage employee relations, investigations, and conflict resolution

• Direct performance management, coaching, and leadership development programs

• Administer compensation and benefits in partnership with corporate leadership

• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations

• Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and best practices

• Analyze HR metrics to drive data informed decisions and continuous improvement

• Support organizational change and culture initiatives across the portfolio
