Director of Finance

Northeast Georgia Rehabilitation Institute seeks a Director of Finance to lead all financial operations for our 40-bed inpatient rehabilitation hospital. This role oversees budgeting, forecasting, revenue cycle, and financial reporting to support high-quality, patient-centered care. The Director partners with clinical and administrative leaders on strategic planning, ensures compliance with healthcare regulations, manages audits, and develops financial policies that drive efficiency and sustainable growth in a collaborative, mission-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting for the rehabilitation hospital

• Oversee revenue cycle, reimbursement, and cash flow management

• Prepare and analyze monthly and annual financial statements and performance reports

• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, GAAP, and internal controls

• Partner with clinical and administrative leaders on strategic and capital planning

• Develop and monitor financial policies, procedures, and cost-containment initiatives

• Manage audits, risk, and regulatory reporting requirements

• Supervise and mentor finance staff, fostering continuous improvement

• Provide financial insights to support patient-centered, outcome-focused care
