Job Description
NATIONAL COMMUNITY REINVESTMENT COALITION INC seeks a Director, Lending & Relationship Management for its Community Development Fund. This role leads strategy and operations for mission-driven lending that expands fair access to credit in underserved communities. The Director will manage partner relationships with banks, CDFIs, and community organizations; oversee pipeline development, underwriting, and portfolio performance; and design equitable lending products. Working in a collaborative, data-informed culture, this position aligns lending with NCRC's research and advocacy to advance racial and economic justice nationwide.
Responsibilities

Lead strategy and operations for the Community Development Fund's lending and relationship management functions

Develop and manage relationships with CDFIs, banks, community groups, and other capital partners

Oversee loan pipeline development, underwriting standards, and portfolio performance

Design and implement lending products that expand fair access to credit in underserved communities

Collaborate with policy, research, and program teams to align lending with NCRC's advocacy goals

Manage team performance, budgets, and reporting to internal and external stakeholders

Ensure compliance with lending regulations, risk management policies, and funder requirements

Represent NCRC in external meetings, conferences, and partnerships related to community development finance Required Skills
