Director, Alternative Investment Specialist

Larson Financial Holdings, LLC seeks a Director, Alternative Investment Specialist to lead strategy, due diligence, and implementation of alternative investments for physicians and other professionals. You will design portfolios incorporating private equity, private credit, and real assets, evaluate and monitor managers, and translate complex strategies into clear client solutions. Partner closely with advisors to support business development, create educational materials, and present recommendations. You'll mentor team members, help refine product platforms, and contribute to firm growth in a collaborative, client first culture with strong professional development.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategy and positioning for alternative investments within client portfolios

• Conduct sourcing, due diligence, and ongoing monitoring of alternative managers and funds

• Design portfolios and asset allocations incorporating private equity, private credit, and real assets

• Translate complex investment concepts into clear proposals and presentations for advisors and clients

• Partner with advisors to support business development and retention of high net worth clients, especially physicians

• Create educational content, tools, and training on alternative investments for internal teams and clients

• Collaborate with product, compliance, tax, and operations to refine the alternative investment platform

• Monitor performance, risk, and capacity across strategies and report findings to leadership

• Mentor and develop junior investment staff supporting research and analytics

• Contribute to strategic initiatives that drive firm growth and enhance client experience Required Skills
