DCEO EOT, ADC InfraOps

Amazon Web Services, Inc. is seeking a DCEO EOT, ADC InfraOps leader to own the reliability and efficiency of AWS data center operations. In this role, you will lead teams that operate large-scale infrastructure, oversee incident response, and drive continuous improvement in availability, capacity, and safety. You will partner with engineering, facilities, and security to implement resilient processes, automation, and monitoring. Ideal candidates bring deep data center or cloud operations experience, strong analytical and leadership skills, and thrive in a fast-paced, customer-obsessed environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operations for AWS data centers, ensuring high availability, safety, and compliance.

• Oversee incident management, including triage, escalation, communication, and root cause analysis.

• Drive capacity and availability planning in partnership with infrastructure and product teams.

• Implement and improve monitoring, automation, and operational runbooks to reduce toil and risk.

• Collaborate with facilities, security, and engineering teams on maintenance, upgrades, and resiliency.

• Manage and develop operations teams, setting performance standards and fostering a learning culture.

• Own and refine operational metrics, reporting, and KPIs to guide data-driven decisions.

• Ensure adherence to change management processes and operational best practices across sites.

• Contribute to disaster recovery, business continuity, and emergency response planning.

• Identify and lead continuous improvement initiatives to optimize cost, performance, and reliability.
