Counter Sales

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist walk-in and phone customers at the sales counter

• Recommend building materials and related products based on project needs

• Prepare and process sales orders, quotes, and returns accurately

• Coordinate with yard, warehouse, and delivery teams to fulfill orders

• Maintain product knowledge of lumber, hardware, tools, and millwork

• Handle payments, pricing, and basic inventory checks

• Resolve customer issues with professionalism and follow-up

• Promote add-on products and current promotions to increase sales

• Ensure counter area is organized, stocked, and safe

• Collaborate with sales and operations teams to meet service goals Required Skills
