Compensation Analyst

American Honda Motor Co., Inc. seeks a Compensation Analyst to support competitive, equitable pay programs across its U.S. manufacturing and corporate operations. In this role, you will analyze market data, maintain salary structures, and support annual merit and bonus cycles. You'll partner with HR and business leaders to evaluate jobs, guide offers and promotions, and ensure regulatory compliance. You will build reports and models, improve compensation processes, and contribute to Honda's innovation-driven, safety- and quality-focused culture of continuous improvement and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and benchmark compensation for manufacturing and corporate roles using market data and internal equity reviews

• Develop and maintain salary structures, pay ranges, and job classifications aligned with Honda's compensation philosophy

• Support annual merit, bonus, and pay review cycles with modeling, reporting, and recommendations

• Prepare compensation reports and dashboards for HR and leadership using HRIS and analytics tools

• Ensure compliance with federal and state wage and hour laws and internal compensation policies

• Partner with HR Business Partners and managers to provide guidance on offers, promotions, and pay adjustments

• Conduct job evaluations and create/update job descriptions to support organizational design

• Support compensation components of talent programs, including performance management and rewards

• Collaborate with Finance to model compensation costs and support workforce planning

• Continuously improve compensation processes, tools, and data quality in a culture of innovation and Kaizen Required Skills
