Commercial HVAC Business Development Representative

Encon Heating & AC seeks a Commercial HVAC Business Development Representative to grow sales across New Haven County. In this field-focused role, you will prospect and qualify commercial leads, build relationships with property managers and contractors, and promote energy-efficient HVAC solutions and service agreements. You'll conduct site visits, coordinate with technicians to prepare proposals, and manage the sales pipeline from initial contact through close, supporting Encon's reputation for safety, integrity, and high-quality service.

Responsibilities

• Prospect and qualify new commercial HVAC business opportunities within New Haven County

• Build and maintain relationships with property managers, contractors, and business owners

• Conduct site visits to understand customer HVAC needs and propose Encon solutions

• Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to prepare estimates and proposals

• Present and explain HVAC system options, energy-efficient solutions, and service agreements

• Manage and update sales pipeline, forecasts, and activity reports in CRMNegotiate pricing and terms within company guidelines to close deals

• Coordinate smooth handoff from sales to project and service teams

• Represent Encon at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions

• Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales and revenue targets Required Skills
