Bilingual Mortgage Loan Processor

First National Bank Texas is seeking a Bilingual Mortgage Loan Processor to support our community-focused mortgage team. In this role, you will review and process mortgage applications, verify income, assets, and credit, and ensure files meet FNBT and investor guidelines. You'll communicate with borrowers, loan officers, and underwriters in English and Spanish to clear conditions and move loans smoothly to closing. Ideal candidates bring strong attention to detail, knowledge of FHA/VA/USDA products, and a commitment to delivering reliable, customer-first service in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Review and process mortgage loan applications from submission through closing

• Verify borrower income, assets, employment, and credit documentation

• Communicate with borrowers in English and Spanish to obtain required documentation and clear conditions

• Coordinate with loan officers, underwriters, and closing staff to meet deadlines

• Ensure loans comply with FNBT, investor, and regulatory guidelines (TRID, RESPA, TILA)

• Submit and review findings from automated underwriting systems and address conditions

• Monitor pipeline to prioritize files and maintain service level expectations

• Identify and resolve documentation or data discrepancies before submission to underwriting

• Maintain accurate records in the Loan Origination System and document imaging platforms

• Deliver high-quality customer service aligned with FNBT's community-focused values Required Skills

• Mortgage loan processing
