Assistant Client Service Specialist
Job Description
Marshall and Sterling Inc seeks an Assistant Client Service Specialist to support our Employee Benefits team. You will assist with benefit enrollments, renewals, documentation, and client inquiries, ensuring accurate, timely service. Partnering with consultants, carriers, and internal teams, you'll help prepare proposals, maintain data, and resolve issues. Responsibilities

Support client service team with day-to-day administration of employee benefit accounts

Assist with enrollments, terminations, and changes in benefits platforms and carrier portals

Prepare proposals, renewal materials, presentations, and client communications

Respond to client and employee inquiries regarding eligibility, coverage, and claims escalation

Maintain accurate policy, enrollment, and compliance documentation in agency systems

Coordinate with carriers, vendors, and internal departments to resolve service issues

Track deadlines for renewals, open enrollment, billing, and compliance deliverables

Generate reports and analyze basic benefits data to support client recommendations

Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and internal procedures

Participate in training to build knowledge of employee benefits products and services Required Skills
