    Job Description

    Applications Engineer II - Engineering & Design at Medical Manufacturing Technologies LLC (MMT). In this role, you will design, validate, and support advanced automation and precision manufacturing solutions for medical devices and minimally invasive surgical products. Partner with customers and internal teams to translate requirements into robust equipment designs, develop and optimize processes, generate technical documentation, and support installation, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement. You'll collaborate in a highly innovative, quality-focused culture impacting patient outcomes worldwide while growing your expertise in medical manufacturing technologies.

    Responsibilities

    • Design and develop medical manufacturing equipment and automated solutions in collaboration with cross-functional teams.

    • Translate customer and internal requirements into detailed specifications, 3

    • D models, and engineering drawings.

    • Support process development, equipment validation, and documentation (IQ/OQ/PQ, protocols, and reports).

    • Troubleshoot equipment and process issues, performing root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions.

    • Collaborate with customers during design reviews, FAT/SAT, and installation to ensure technical and performance requirements are met.

    • Prepare and maintain BOMs, manuals, and technical documentation in compliance with quality and regulatory standards.

    • Contribute to continuous improvement of designs, processes, and standards to enhance reliability and manufacturability.

    • Provide engineering support to manufacturing, service, and field teams throughout the equipment lifecycle.

    • PLC/HMI fundamentals and machine control concepts

    • Design for manufacturability and reliability (DFM/DFA)

    • Technical documentation and equipment specifications

    • Root cause analysis and structured problem solving

    • ISO 13485 and FDA-regulated environment familiarity
