Application Developer

Prime Health Services, Inc., a national medical PPO network, seeks an Application Developer to build and enhance secure, scalable applications that power medical claims processing and cost-containment solutions. You will design, develop, and maintain APIs, services, and data integrations supporting payers, TPAs, and employers. Collaborating closely with product, data, and operations teams, you'll translate business and compliance requirements into robust technical solutions. The role emphasizes quality, performance, and automation in a collaborative, client-focused culture dedicated to innovation and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain healthcare applications and services supporting claims processing and cost containment.

• Build and integrate RESTful APIs and data services with internal and external payer systems.

• Collaborate with product, data, and operations teams to translate business needs into technical solutions.

• Implement secure, compliant handling of healthcare and financial data.

• Write clean, testable, and well-documented code following best practices and coding standards.

• Develop and maintain unit, integration, and automated tests to ensure reliability and performance.

• Participate in Agile ceremonies, code reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives.

• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize application performance and scalability in production environments.
