AI Solutions Engineer Lead

Elevance Health is seeking a Lead Senior AI Solutions Engineer to architect and deliver scalable AI solutions that transform healthcare experiences and outcomes. In this mission-driven role, you will design, build, and deploy production-grade ML and generative AI systems across claims, care management, and member engagement. You'll partner with clinicians, data scientists, and product teams to translate business problems into robust AI architectures, lead MLOps and cloud implementation, ensure data privacy and compliance, and mentor engineers while promoting best practices in reliability, performance, and ethical AI.

Responsibilities

• Architect, design, and deliver scalable AI and ML solutions for healthcare use cases.

• Collaborate with clinicians, data scientists, and product teams to translate requirements into technical designs.

• Lead end-to-end implementation, including data pipelines, model training, deployment, and monitoring.

• Establish and maintain MLOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud infrastructure for AI workloads.

• Ensure security, compliance, and responsible use of data in line with HIPAA and organizational policies.

• Evaluate and integrate LLM and generative AI technologies into enterprise solutions.

• Optimize performance, reliability, and cost for production AI services.

• Mentor and guide engineers, promoting best practices and technical excellence in AI engineering.
