Accounts Payable Manager

Description: The accounts payable manager compiles and maintains accounts payable records for all operational expenses in a multi-Company environment. This position works with all departments to process payments quickly, accurately, and efficiently while supervising one staff member.

Job Duties:

• Reviews all invoices for appropriate documentation and approval before payment.

• Processes credit card statements, following up with credit card users for proper receipts.

• Reviews all outbound shipment billing.

• Examines duty, ocean, air, and land freight billing payments.

• Reconciles vendor statements & all vendor inquiries.

• Maintains all accounts payable reports, spreadsheets, and accounts payable files.

• Provides reconciliations for the monthly and annual closing process.

Requirements: Skills/Qualifications:

• Previous Accounting and Accounts Payable experience

• Knowledge of General Ledger

• Organization skills

• Attention to detail

• Proficient in Excel

• Able to work in a fast-paced environment
