Accounting Operations Specialist

Larson Financial Group, LLC seeks an Accounting Operations Specialist to support our advisor-focused wealth management platform serving physicians nationwide. In this role, you will manage daily accounting workflows, including reconciliations, billing, fee calculations, and cash movements across client and firm accounts. You will ensure data accuracy between custodians and internal systems, prepare reports for advisors and leadership, and help refine processes for scale. You'll collaborate closely with operations, compliance, and planning teams in a client-first, education-oriented culture with strong opportunities for growth.

Responsibilities

• Execute daily accounting operations, including reconciliations, billing, and fee calculations for client and firm accounts.

• Maintain accurate general ledger entries and ensure alignment between custodial platforms and internal systems.

• Prepare routine and ad hoc financial and operational reports for advisors, leadership, and internal stakeholders.

• Support month-end and quarter-end close processes, including variance analysis and data validation.

• Monitor cash movements, receivables, and payables to ensure timely and accurate processing.

• Partner with operations, compliance, and planning teams to resolve discrepancies and operational issues.

• Document and improve accounting workflows, creating efficient, scalable processes and controls.

• Ensure adherence to internal policies, GAAP, and relevant financial regulations.

• Assist with audits, data requests, and special projects related to finance and operations.

• Contribute to a client-first, collaborative culture focused on serving physicians with fiduciary care.
