Account Manager

A leading UK provider of mechanical and electrical equipment and low-level access solutions.

Supporting the construction, fit-out, mechanical and electrical sectors nationwide.

Due to continued growth, they are looking for an experienced Account Manager to cover the South London territory.

Role Overview

• Manage and grow a defined South London territory

• Develop existing customer and key account relationships

• Identify and win new business with subcontractors and construction companies

• Drive hire revenue and maximise customer spend

• Build relationships at both head office and project/site level

• Manage sales pipeline and customer activity through CRM

• Demonstrate products and provide technical, value-led solutions

• Plan and manage customer visits across the territory

Requirements

• Proven sales / account management experience

• Ideally from Mechanical & Electrical, construction, equipment hire or a related industry

• Strong business development and networking skills

• Experience winning new business and developing existing accounts

• Confident dealing with decision-makers at all levels

• Strong commercial and negotiation skills

• Excellent communication and presentation skills

• Highly organised and able to manage your own territory

• Full UK driving licence

• Based in South London

• 45,000- 48,000 salary depending on experience
