Workers Compensation Claims Supervisor

Gallagher Bassett seeks a Workers Compensation Claims Supervisor to lead a team handling complex workers compensation claims for diverse clients. In this role, you will oversee claim investigations, coverage analysis, reserving, litigation management, and timely, accurate claim resolution. You'll monitor workload, quality, and compliance with regulations and client service standards while coaching and developing adjusters. Partnering closely with clients, medical providers, and attorneys, you'll drive efficient recovery outcomes, manage risk, support continuous process improvement, and contribute to a professional, collaborative culture.

Responsibilities

• Supervise workers compensation claims adjusters and support staff

• Oversee investigation, coverage analysis, reserving, and resolution of claims

• Ensure compliance with state workers compensation laws and regulations

• Monitor claim quality, timeliness, and file documentation standards

• Manage litigated claims in partnership with defense counsel

• Collaborate with clients, brokers, and medical providers to drive outcomes

• Analyze claim trends, losses, and costs to support risk management strategies

• Provide coaching, training, and performance feedback to team members

• Implement and support process improvements and best practices
