VP Auditor, Markets and Wealth Services

BNY is seeking a VP Auditor, Markets and Wealth Services to lead independent audits across trading, markets, and wealth platforms. In this role, you will assess key risks, evaluate controls, and provide practical recommendations that enhance governance and regulatory compliance. You will design and execute risk-based audit plans, use data analytics to identify emerging issues, and present impactful findings to senior leaders. Partnering with global teams, you will help strengthen BNY's control environment while contributing to a culture of integrity, innovation, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead risk-based audits across Markets and Wealth Services businesses

• Assess design and effectiveness of internal controls and governance

• Identify, analyze, and report on key operational, financial, and compliance risks

• Develop and execute audit programs, leveraging data analytics where appropriate

• Prepare clear audit reports and present findings to senior management

• Monitor remediation plans and validate completion of corrective actions

• Collaborate with global stakeholders to align on best practices and standards

• Stay current on regulatory developments impacting markets and wealth services

• Contribute to continuous improvement of audit methodologies and tools

• Coach and mentor junior auditors on engagements and best practices Required Skills
