Vice President of Finance

Pressley Ridge seeks a Vice President of Finance to lead financial strategy for a multi-state, mission-driven human services organization. This role oversees budgeting, forecasting, grants and contract reporting, and compliance within healthcare and social services. The VP of Finance partners with executives and the Board to align resources with strategic goals, strengthen internal controls, and manage risk. The leader will guide audits, financial systems, and cash flow while mentoring a high-performing finance team. Success in this role supports trauma-informed, family-centered programs that improve the lives of children, youth, adults, and families.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic financial leadership to support Pressley Ridge's mission and long-term sustainability

• Lead budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, and financial reporting across multiple programs and regions

• Ensure compliance with nonprofit, healthcare, and governmental financial regulations and reporting requirements

• Partner with executive leadership and the Board on financial planning, risk management, and capital decisions

• Oversee grants management, reimbursement, and contract reporting for public and private funders

• Optimize financial systems, controls, and processes to ensure accuracy, transparency, and audit readiness

• Manage relationships with auditors, banks, and external financial partners

• Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team to build capacity and support professional growth

• Provide data-driven insights to guide program expansion, cost efficiency, and impact measurement

• Collaborate with program and operations leaders to align financial resources with strategic priorities Required Skills
