Telecom Retail Sales Representative

Astound is seeking Retail Sales Representatives to connect customers with high-speed internet, TV, and phone solutions. In this customer-facing role, you'll provide consultative sales in-store and at local events, educating residential and small business customers on Astound's fiber-rich services, advanced WiFi, and streaming options. You'll manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to order entry while delivering exceptional service, meeting sales targets, and representing Astound's customer-first, community-focused culture in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Drive residential and small business sales of Astound's internet, video, and phone services through in-person and outbound customer engagement.

• Deliver consultative product recommendations based on customer needs, usage, and budget, positioning bundled and promotional offers.

• Achieve or exceed individual and team sales targets, conversion rates, and customer acquisition goals.

• Conduct product demos, explain service features, pricing, and contractual terms clearly and accurately.

• Process new orders, upgrades, and account changes accurately using CRM and sales systems.

• Maintain high standards of customer service, handling objections, questions, and basic troubleshooting with professionalism.

• Prospect and follow up on leads from events, referrals, and marketing campaigns within assigned territory.

• Stay current on Astound products, network coverage, promotions, and competitors' offerings.

• Document all customer interactions, pipeline activity, and sales results in required reporting tools.

• Collaborate with local field, marketing, and customer support teams to ensure a smooth installation and onboarding experience.
