Staff Accountant

Consolidated Precision Products is seeking a Staff Accountant to support our aerospace and industrial manufacturing operations. In this role, you will prepare journal entries, reconcile general ledger accounts, assist with month-end close, and support cost accounting for complex castings and precision machining activities. You will help analyze variances, maintain accurate financial records, and support audits while partnering with operations teams. Responsibilities

• Prepare and post journal entries and maintain the general ledger

• Reconcile balance sheet and income statement accounts

• Support month-end and year-end close activities

• Assist with cost accounting, including standard costs and variance analysis

• Prepare schedules and documentation for internal and external audits

• Support budgeting and forecasting with accurate financial data

• Collaborate with operations teams to explain financial results

• Maintain compliance with company policies and accounting standards

• Identify and support process and control improvements

• Produce timely, accurate financial reports for management Required Skills
