Service Billing Specialist

Upchurch is seeking a detail-oriented Service Billing Specialist to support accurate, timely invoicing for our professional, scientific, and technical services. In this role, you will prepare and review client invoices, validate time and expense data, and ensure alignment with contracts and project terms. You will collaborate closely with project managers, consultants, and finance to resolve discrepancies, respond to client billing inquiries, and support collections and month-end close. Responsibilities

• Generate and process client invoices for professional services accurately and on schedule

• Review contracts, project codes, and time/expense entries to ensure correct billing terms and rates

• Reconcile billed amounts against project records and resolve discrepancies with project managers and consultants

• Respond to client billing inquiries and provide supporting documentation as needed

• Monitor aging reports, follow up on overdue accounts, and support collections activities

• Maintain organized billing records and ensure compliance with company policies and client requirements

• Collaborate with finance and project teams to improve billing workflows and reporting

• Support month-end close by preparing billing summaries and revenue reports Required Skills
