Senior Workers' Compensation Claims Adjuster

Gallagher Bassett, a global leader in risk and claims management, seeks a Senior Workers Compensation Claims Adjuster to manage complex lost-time and litigated workers' compensation claims. In this role, you will investigate coverage and compensability, analyze medical and wage information, set and adjust reserves, and develop proactive claim strategies that drive timely, cost-effective resolutions. You will collaborate closely with injured workers, employers, medical providers, attorneys, and internal teams, ensuring regulatory compliance and high-quality documentation. You'll mentor junior adjusters, support client reporting, and contribute to continuous improvement in outcomes and client service.

Responsibilities

• Manage complex workers' compensation claims from intake through closure

• Conduct thorough investigations, determining coverage and compensability

• Review and interpret medical reports, wage data, and legal documents

• Establish, monitor, and adjust reserves in line with company guidelines

• Develop and execute claim strategies to drive timely, cost-effective resolution

• Coordinate with injured workers, employers, providers, and attorneys

• Ensure strict compliance with regulatory and jurisdictional requirements

• Document all claim activities and maintain accurate claim files and systems

• Prepare reports and updates for clients and internal stakeholders

• Mentor and support junior adjusters and contribute to process improvements Required Skills
