Senior Tax Analyst

Zurich Insurance Company Ltd. seeks a Senior Tax Analyst to support complex tax compliance, provision, and reporting for a global, multi-line insurance business. You will prepare and review federal, state, and international tax calculations, support audits, analyze tax impacts of new transactions, and help ensure accurate, timely filings. Partnering with finance, actuarial, and business teams, you'll provide data-driven insights, strengthen tax controls, and contribute to process improvements in a collaborative, learning-focused, and sustainability-minded culture with global growth opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review corporate income tax returns and supporting workpapers for federal, state, and international jurisdictions.

• Support quarterly and annual tax provision processes, including ASC 740/IFRS calculations and reconciliations.

• Research tax issues, monitor legislative changes, and document technical tax positions and memos.

• Assist with tax audits and inquiries, preparing responses and supporting documentation.

• Analyze tax impacts of business transactions and insurance products, providing insights to finance and business partners.

• Maintain and improve tax processes, controls, and documentation to reduce risk and increase efficiency.

• Leverage ERP and tax systems to extract, validate, and reconcile data used in tax calculations and reporting.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (finance, actuarial, legal, business units) on tax-related projects and initiatives.
