Senior Market Intelligence Manager - Wood Products Manufacturing

Weyerhaeuser seeks a Market Intelligence Manager to drive data-informed decisions across its sustainable wood products and timber businesses. In this role, you will lead market research, competitive analysis, and forecasting for housing, construction, and industrial segments across North America. You will synthesize economic, customer, and pricing data into clear insights that guide product strategy, capacity planning, and commercial decisions. Partnering closely with sales, operations, finance, and leadership, you'll build dashboards and reports, evaluate new market opportunities, and translate complex trends into actionable recommendations in a culture grounded in safety, integrity, and sustainability.

Responsibilities

• Lead market research and competitive analysis for North American wood products and building materials

• Develop market forecasts, pricing insights, and demand models for manufacturing and timber businesses

• Translate market trends into actionable recommendations for sales, product, and strategy teams

• Build and maintain dashboards, reports, and presentations for senior leadership

• Partner with operations, supply chain, and finance to inform capacity and investment decisions

• Monitor industry, housing, and construction indicators to identify risks and growth opportunities

• Evaluate customer, channel, and regional performance to guide go-to-market plans

• Support business cases for new products, markets, and partnerships

• Manage external data providers and research partners, ensuring data quality and value

• Present findings clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders Required Skills
