Senior General Liability Bodily Injury Claims Adjuster

Gallagher Bassett seeks a Senior General Liability Bodily Injury Claims Adjuster to handle complex claims for diverse clients. In this role, you will investigate, analyze coverage, evaluate liability and damages, and negotiate fair settlements while managing litigation and collaborating with defense counsel. Responsibilities

• Investigate and evaluate complex general liability bodily injury claims from initial intake through resolution

• Review coverage, liability, and damages, setting and adjusting reserves in line with company guidelines

• Gather and analyze statements, medical records, police reports, and other evidence to determine exposure

• Negotiate settlements with claimants, attorneys, and other parties while managing litigation strategies

• Collaborate with defense counsel, brokers, and clients to develop cost-effective resolution plans

• Document claim files thoroughly and maintain accurate, timely notes and correspondence

• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, client service standards, and internal best practices

• Provide guidance and mentoring to junior adjusters and contribute to process improvements Required Skills
