Senior Financial Reporting Accountant

Century Distribution Systems is seeking a Senior Financial Reporting Accountant to own key reporting and accounting processes supporting global logistics operations. In this role, you will prepare consolidated financial statements, manage month-end close, and ensure compliance with GAAP and internal controls. You will analyze results, explain variances, and support budgeting and forecasting. Partnering with global finance and operations teams, you'll improve reporting tools, optimize processes, and provide insights that guide strategic decisions in a fast-paced transportation and warehousing environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAPLead and coordinate the month-end and quarter-end close processes

• Perform variance analysis and provide commentary on financial performance

• Maintain and improve financial reporting models and tools

• Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and audit requirements

• Support budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial planning

• Collaborate with global finance and operations teams to align reporting with business needs

• Assist with external and internal audits, providing schedules and documentation

• Identify and drive process improvements in accounting and reporting workflows

• Provide financial insights to support strategic decisions in logistics and supply chain operations Required Skills
