Senior Accountant

Famous Smoke Shop, a leading online and retail cigar retailer in Easton, PA, is seeking a Senior Accountant to own day-to-day and month-end accounting for our wholesale and e commerce operations. Responsibilities include general ledger management, reconciliations, inventory and COGS analysis, sales tax and compliance, financial reporting, budgeting support, and process improvement. The Senior Accountant will partner with operations, logistics, and marketing to provide insight on margins, promotions, and vendor terms, while ensuring accurate, timely financials in a relaxed, customer-focused, and team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage general ledger, journal entries, and month-end close

• Prepare and review account reconciliations, including bank, inventory, and accruals

• Analyze inventory, COGS, and gross margins for wholesale and e commerce channels

• Prepare financial statements and management reports with variance analysis

• Support budgeting and forecasting processes with department leaders

• Ensure sales tax, use tax, and other compliance filings are accurate and timely

• Partner with operations, logistics, and marketing on pricing and promotions impact

• Improve and document accounting processes and internal controls

• Collaborate with external CPA firm on audits and year-end activities

• Leverage accounting and ERP systems to streamline reporting and data integrity Required Skills
