Senior Accountant

Teal, Becker & Chiaramonte, CPAs, P.C. seeks a Senior Accountant to join our full-service public accounting firm in Albany, NY. In this role, you will prepare and review financial statements, perform audits and reviews, and manage complex corporate, partnership, and individual tax engagements. You will work directly with partners, supervise staff, and provide proactive guidance to a diverse client base in professional, scientific, and technical services and other industries. Responsibilities

• Prepare and review complex financial statements and supporting schedules for diverse clients

• Perform audits, reviews, and compilations in accordance with professional standards

• Manage and review corporate, partnership, and individual tax returns

• Research complex accounting and tax issues and present clear recommendations

• Supervise and mentor staff, providing on-the-job training and feedback

• Collaborate directly with partners on client engagements and planning

• Assist clients with budgeting, cash flow analysis, and advisory projects

• Ensure compliance with GAAP, tax regulations, and firm quality standards

• Build and maintain strong client relationships through responsive service

• Contribute to process improvements, knowledge sharing, and firm initiatives Required Skills
