    Job Description

    Barrett Engineering Steels, Bolton site became a pivotal asset following its acquisition in 2023, since then we have had major investment and a full upgrade of the facilities, machinery and output capabilities managed by a brilliant team of experts, all contributing to continuing growth and development of the business. In line with this growth, we have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Sales Administrator to join our sales team.

    All about the role

    In this role you will be responsible for providing full administrative support to the team, contributing to the productivity of the sales team by dealing with customers queries, fielding calls and paper-based tasks plus a wide range of duties. This important position contributes to the quality of customer service and the achievement of sales targets.

    Specific tasks include:

    • Provide a wide variety of administrative support to our sales team.

    • Inputting of orders & data entry.

    • Assisting in the preparation and submission of quotations.

    • Helping to maintain and grow customer relationships.

    • Dealing with customers (internal & external) over the phone or via e-mail.

    • To help drive excellent customer service & a continuous improvement mindset.

    • Supporting and communicating effectively with internal staff.

    • Any ad hoc duties as required in the role.
