Regional Support Technician

Canon U.S.A. seeks a Regional Support Technician to provide on-site and remote technical support for imaging and printing solutions across manufacturing customers in the region. You will install, configure, and maintain Canon printers, scanners, and related systems, diagnose and resolve hardware/software issues, and perform preventive maintenance to maximize uptime. You'll train users, document service activities, and collaborate with engineering and customer support teams. Responsibilities

• Provide regional technical support for Canon manufacturing and imaging equipment at customer sites and facilities

• Install, configure, and test printers, scanners, and related systems to ensure optimal performance

• Diagnose hardware, software, and network connectivity issues and perform repairs or coordinate service

• Conduct preventive maintenance, calibration, and firmware updates on Canon devices

• Train end users and onsite staff on proper operation, basic troubleshooting, and best practices

• Document service activities, parts usage, and issue resolutions in ticketing and reporting systems

• Collaborate with engineering, product, and customer support teams to escalate complex technical problems

• Monitor equipment performance trends and recommend improvements to reduce downtime

• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and data security standards during all service activities

• Support regional rollout of new products and technology upgrades, including pilots and feedback collection Required Skills
