Property Claims Analyst

FM seeks a Property Claims Analyst to manage a portfolio of residential and commercial property claims from first notice through closure. You will investigate losses, interpret policy coverage, and determine liability, limits, and exclusions. Responsibilities include coordinating inspections, assessing damages, and preparing accurate estimates using tools such as Xactimate. You will negotiate fair settlements, maintain detailed claim documentation, and ensure compliance with state regulations and internal guidelines while providing clear, timely communication to policyholders and brokers. Responsibilities

• Investigate residential and commercial property claims from first notice through resolution

• Review policies to determine coverage, limits, exclusions, and deductibles

• Conduct damage assessments using on-site inspections, photos, and reports

• Prepare accurate loss estimates using Xactimate or similar tools

• Negotiate fair settlements with policyholders, vendors, and other carriers

• Maintain detailed claim files, documentation, and status notes

• Collaborate with legal, underwriting, and risk teams on complex claims

• Ensure compliance with state regulations and internal claims guidelines

• Communicate clearly with insureds and brokers on claim status and decisions
