Private Client Tax Manager

An excellent new opportunity has arisen with a leading firm of Chartered Accountants in Bradford, who are looking to appoint a Private Client Tax Manager to join their growing team, offering flexible working, a strong company pension, and much more. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced tax professional to take ownership of a varied portfolio of private clients, working closely with partners and senior management to deliver a first-class advisory and compliance service. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing client relationships, mentoring junior team members, and contributing to the continued growth of the private client tax department.

What is the day-to-day of the role:

• Manage a diverse portfolio of private clients, including high net worth individuals, trusts, and partnerships

• Provide proactive tax planning and advisory services alongside compliance work

• Review tax returns prepared by junior staff and provide technical support and mentoring

• Liaise directly with clients and HMRC on complex tax matters

• Support business development and identify opportunities to grow the private client offering Required Skills and Qualifications:

• CTA and/or ATT qualified (or qualified by experience)

• Previous experience working within a UK Practice environment

• Strong technical knowledge of personal tax, trusts, and capital gains tax

• Excellent client relationship management and communication skills

• Proven ability to manage and develop junior team members Benefits:
