Network and Systems Engineer

Choctaw Global seeks a Network and Systems Engineer to design, implement, and support secure IT infrastructure across our diverse operations. You will manage networks, servers, and cloud services, ensuring availability, performance, and compliance with best practices. Responsibilities include configuring switches, firewalls, and VPNs; administering Windows and Linux systems; monitoring, troubleshooting, and documenting environments; and collaborating with cross-functional teams. Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain LAN/WAN, VPN, and wireless networks across multiple sites.

• Administer Windows and Linux servers, virtualization platforms, and cloud services (e.g., Azure, AWS).

• Configure and manage firewalls, switches, routers, and security policies to ensure a secure environment.

• Monitor network and system performance, troubleshoot incidents, and resolve outages in a timely manner.

• Implement backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity solutions.

• Maintain detailed documentation of network diagrams, configurations, and standard operating procedures.

• Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to support projects and infrastructure upgrades.

• Ensure compliance with security standards, policies, and industry best practices.

• Automate routine tasks using scripting or infrastructure-as-code tools where appropriate.

• Provide technical support and mentorship to junior IT staff.
