Major Gift Officer

SBP seeks a Major Gift Officer to lead and grow our corporate giving efforts in support of disaster recovery and resilience. In this role, you will manage a portfolio of corporate donors and prospects, design strategies to secure major gifts and sponsorships, and steward long-term partnerships that fund SBP's rebuilding, training, and advocacy programs. You will collaborate closely with leadership and program teams to craft tailored proposals, deliver impact reports, and represent SBP with corporate stakeholders, helping communities recover faster after disasters across the country.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage a portfolio of corporate donors and prospects to support SBP's disaster recovery mission

• Design and execute strategies to secure major corporate gifts and sponsorships

• Conduct research, outreach, and stewardship to deepen corporate partnerships

• Collaborate with program and leadership teams to align proposals with SBP priorities

• Prepare compelling proposals, pitches, and impact reports for corporate partners

• Track activity, results, and donor information in CRM and reporting tools

• Represent SBP at meetings, events, and presentations with corporate stakeholders

• Support annual revenue goals and forecasting for corporate giving Required Skills
