Essential Experience: 8-12+ years within automotive engineering Proven automotive diagnostics development experience OEM, retailer or Tier 1 experience Retailer/dealer diagnostic tooling experience Strong vehicle electrical systems knowledge Customer-facing technical leadership. Project delivery from concept through release. Supplier and stakeholder management. Quotation and solution development experience. Essential Technical Knowledge: UDS, ODX, OTX and DoIP. CAN, CAN FD, LIN and Automotive Ethernet. Vehicle electrical and electronic architectures. Diagnostic development and release processes. Electrical fault finding and root cause analysis. Retailer diagnostic tooling and service environments. EV and electrified vehicle systems. Technical reporting and presentation skills. Qualifications: Degree in Automotive Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Mechatronics or related discipline. Full UK Driving License. Willingness to travel within the UK and internationally occasionally. Preferred Experience: High Voltage qualification or authorisation (training can be provided). Premium automotive OEM experience.
