Inside Sales Representative - Water Heater & Water Treatment Manufacturing

A.O. Smith seeks an Inside Sales Representative to drive sales of water heaters and water treatment products to distributors, contractors, and commercial customers. You will manage inbound inquiries, develop quotes, and follow up to close opportunities while building long-term relationships. Partner closely with manufacturing, engineering, and customer service to provide technical product guidance and ensure accurate orders. Use CRM tools to track pipelines and forecast sales. Responsibilities

• Manage inbound sales inquiries and proactively follow up on leads to drive new business

• Prepare and deliver accurate quotes and process purchase orders in a timely manner

• Use CRM tools to manage pipeline, forecast sales, and maintain account records

• Collaborate with manufacturing, engineering, and customer service to meet customer needs

• Provide technical product information and recommend solutions based on customer requirements

• Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, contractors, and commercial accounts

• Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets and KPIs

• Support promotions, product launches, and sales campaigns within assigned territory or segment

• Resolve customer issues related to pricing, availability, and order status

• Contribute feedback to improve processes, products, and customer experience Required Skills
