Injury Claims Examiner

Responsibilities

• Investigate auto injury claims and verify coverage

• Review medical records, police reports, and documentation

• Assess liability and determine claim value within authority limits

• Negotiate and settle claims with customers, attorneys, and providers

• Document findings and decisions in claims systems accurately

• Apply company policies, legal guidelines, and industry best practices

• Collaborate with supervisors on complex or high-exposure claims

• Communicate clearly and empathetically with policyholders and claimants

• Identify potential fraud indicators and escalate when appropriate
