    Job Description

    Accountable Recruitment are delighted to be working with a market leading manufacturing company based near Chester to recruit a Finance Analyst. Reporting to the Head of FP&A and partnering with operational, commercial, technical and supply chain teams, your analytical expertise will help drive strategic decision making, performance optimisation and agile financial management.

    Responsibilities:

    • Support the preparation of the 12-month rolling quarterly forecast, ensuring assumptions are clearly articulated and traceable through underlying planning processes in commercial and operations.

    • Support dynamic planning processes across commercial and operations to deliver the quarterly forecast.

    • Support the build and maintenance of financial models to drive scenario analysis, pricing decisions, resource allocation (OPEX) and investment evaluation (CAPEX).

    • Provide timely monthly performance reporting, highlighting key drivers of variance, risks and opportunities. Articulate issues and actions to close performance gaps and measure progress.

    • Support the preparation of the 3-month cash forecast for working capital requirements.

    • Offer insights to operational and commercial leaders that add value and help shape operational planning, resource utilisation, project viability and longer-term strategic initiatives.

    • Support cross-functional teams in aligning operational decisions with company strategy, sustainability objectives and customer commitments.

    • Ensure complex financial information is communicated, promoting financial understanding across the organisation.

    • Drive improvements in the quality of conversations around operational performance and its impact on financial outcomes.

    Skills Required:

    • ACCA / ACA / CIMA qualified.

    • Financial analysis experience, preferably within industrial, operational or business-to-business environments.

    • Proven experience with modelling, forecasting and business partnering.

    • Proven understanding of rolling forecasts, dynamic target setting and resource allocation methodologies is desirable.
