Fire Systems Sales Rep

Johnson Controls is seeking a Fire Systems Sales Rep to drive sales of fire detection, alarm, and suppression solutions to commercial and industrial customers. You will prospect and qualify leads, develop proposals, and manage the full sales cycle from needs assessment to close. Partner with engineering and install teams to design compliant systems, estimate projects, and support bids. Maintain a strong opportunity pipeline in CRM, meet or exceed sales targets, and ensure code-compliant, safety-focused solutions. Collaborate cross-functionally while representing Johnson Controls' innovative, sustainable building technologies.

Responsibilities

• Prospect, qualify, and develop new fire systems sales opportunities

• Conduct customer needs assessments and site visits for fire protection solutions

• Develop and present system designs, proposals, and quotations

• Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation through closing

• Collaborate with engineering and installation teams on estimates and system layouts

• Ensure solutions meet applicable fire, life safety, and building codes

• Maintain and update opportunities and forecasts in CRM tools

• Meet or exceed assigned sales quotas and revenue targets

• Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers

• Coordinate with project and service teams to ensure smooth handoff and customer satisfaction Required Skills
