Location: Manchester Salary: 28,000- 30,000 per annum Hours: Monday-Friday, 9:00am-5:00pm Job Type: Full-time

We are currently recruiting for an Finance Assistant to join a busy and growing finance team in Manchester.

This is a great opportunity for someone looking to develop their finance career and gain further experience across a range of transactional finance duties.

The Role

As a Finance Assistant, you will provide support across the day-to-day finance function, including:

• Processing invoices and payments

• Supporting Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable

• Raising and processing invoices

• Matching invoices to purchase orders

• Assisting with bank and account reconciliations

• Dealing with finance queries from customers and suppliers

• Maintaining accurate financial records

• Supporting month-end processes

• General finance administration and data entry

• Assisting the wider finance team with ad-hoc tasks

About You

We are looking for someone who is:

• Previous experience within a finance or accounts environment

• Ideally has experience with AP, AR, invoicing or reconciliations

• Confident using Microsoft Excel and other IT systems

• Highly organised with excellent attention to detail

• Comfortable working with numbers and financial information

• Able to manage their workload and meet deadlines

• A good communicator who is confident dealing with internal teams and external contacts

• Keen to develop their career within finance

AAT study or relevant finance qualifications would be advantageous but are not essential.
