Energy Analyst
Job Description
BP Energy seeks an Energy Analyst to support trading, portfolio optimization, and low carbon growth across power, gas, and renewable markets. In this role, you will analyze market fundamentals, price trends, and regulatory developments to inform commercial decisions and risk management. You'll build models, validate data, and create clear reports for traders, commercial leaders, and senior stakeholders. Responsibilities

Analyze power, gas, and renewable market fundamentals, prices, and trends.

Develop and maintain quantitative models for forecasting and valuation.

Support portfolio optimization and structured deal evaluation.

Monitor regulatory and policy developments impacting US energy markets.

Validate, clean, and reconcile large market and internal datasets.
