    CDM Principal Designer - Liverpool A market leading, multi-disciplinary consultancy based in Liverpool, are now seeking a CDM Principal Designer that can lead on the delivery of major projects, acting as the sole CDM Principal Designer across a range of complex sectors. They have several long-standing frameworks in place which will allow you to build long standing relationships, helping you grow in your role as CDM Principal Designer. This would suit a CDM Principal Designer that is looking to have a great work-life balance, whilst also not effecting their exposure to interesting, large-scale projects. The Role The successful CDM Principal Designer will be heavily involved in mitigating risk at early design stages, whilst also leading on all CDM related risks. The role would require clear communication to ensure handover to Principal Contractor is as effective and smooth as possible. The Person The successful Senior CDM Principal Designer for this role will have at least 5 years within a CDM Principal Designer capacity. You will have a previous track record of business development or can bring an array of clients/work with you. You will have a full membership with the APS and/or IOSH (Tech IOSH or IMaPS) In Return?     Building Regulations Principal Designer An established and growing architectural practice is seeking an experienced Building Regulations Principal Designer to join its Liverpool team and lead the development of a dedicated Principal Designer service. This is a rare opportunity for a senior building safety professional to build and shape a new division, supported by an experienced technical team and a strong pipeline of complex projects. The successful Building Regulations Principal Designer will take the lead on higher-risk buildings, develop internal processes and help grow the service both internally and externally. The Building Regulations Principal Designer's Role The Building Regulations Principal Designer will oversee compliance across a varied portfolio of residential, healthcare, refurbishment and remediation projects. You will work closely with architects, technologists, clients and consultants, ensuring design teams meet their duties under the Building Safety Act and Building Regulations.     Lead Principal Designer - CDM & Building Regulations An established construction consultancy in Liverpool is seeking a Lead Principal Designer to head up its CDM and Building Regulations Principal Designer offering. This is a key appointment for the business and would suit an experienced Architect or Architectural Technologist who has moved into Principal Designer work and is confident leading both CDM and Building Regulations compliance. The successful Principal Designer will have significant autonomy, taking ownership of complex projects while helping shape and develop the consultancy's Principal Designer service. The Lead Principal Designer Role The Lead Principal Designer will deliver duties under both CDM 2015 and the Building Regulations, working closely with clients, Architects, consultants and contractors throughout the design process. You will lead design risk and compliance meetings, review technical design information against the Building Regulations and Approved Documents, manage CDM responsibilities and provide strategic advice to clients. Alongside project delivery, you will act as the technical lead for Principal Designer services, developing internal processes, supporting colleagues and helping grow the service across the North West.
