    An opportunity has arisen for a Senior Product Designer to join a well-established biotech company using large-scale genetic data and AI to predict disease risk and advance precision healthcare. As a Senior Product Designer, you will shape user-focused digital products, turning complex information into clear, accessible and intuitive experiences. This is a 6-month contract-based role offering hybrid / remote working options, salary range of £500 - £600 (DOE) per day and benefits. You will be responsible for: - Planning and delivering user research, usability testing and design validation activities. - Developing interactive prototypes to test concepts and guide product decisions. - Taking ownership of UX and UI design throughout discovery, development and validation. - Turning complex data, insights and recommendations into simple, engaging user experiences. - Designing dashboards, workflows and decision-support interfaces that make information easier to understand and act upon. - Carrying out interviews and usability studies to identify user needs and opportunities for improvement. - Working closely with product, engineering and business teams to develop and prioritise effective solutions. - Using qualitative and quantitative insights to refine products and improve the overall user experience. - Presenting design thinking, research findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. - Promoting accessibility, inclusive design and user-centred principles throughout the design process. What we are looking for: Essential: - Previously worked as a Senior Product Designer, Product Designer, Senior UX/UI Designer, Senior UI/UX Designer, Lead Product Designer , Product Design Lead, or in a similar role. - Experience working within digital product environments. - Extensive UX and UI design experience, supported by a strong portfolio of completed work. - Background in delivering user research, prototype testing and design experimentation. - Experience working within Agile and cross-functional product teams. - Advanced knowledge of Figma and contemporary prototyping tools. - Understanding of accessibility requirements and inclusive design practices. - A portfolio demonstrating data visualisation, dashboard, information design and data storytelling capabilities. - Ability to make complex data, processes and decision-making journeys simple and intuitive for users. Desirable: - Experience within healthcare, HealthTech, life sciences or similarly regulated environments. - Experience designing analytics platforms, AI-enabled solutions, dashboards or decision-support products. - Background working with clinical, operational or population-related data.
