Currency Counter

Treasure Island Resort & Casino is seeking a detail-oriented Currency Counter to support secure cash operations in our fast-paced gaming environment. This role is responsible for accurately counting, verifying, and recording currency, chips, and vouchers using specialized equipment while following strict tribal, regulatory, and internal controls. You'll work in a secure, team-based setting, collaborating with cage, accounting, and security staff. Ideal candidates are accurate, dependable, and comfortable with repetitive tasks, maintaining confidentiality and upholding our guest-first, respectful culture.

Responsibilities

• Accurately count, verify, sort, and bundle currency, chips, and vouchers from gaming operations

• Operate currency counting, sorting, and verification machines safely and efficiently

• Balance tills, verify drops, and reconcile variances according to casino procedures

• Maintain detailed, accurate records and logs of all cash handling activities

• Follow strict cash handling, tribal, and gaming compliance policies at all times

• Report discrepancies, suspicious activity, or potential fraud to supervisors immediately

• Secure and transport currency within restricted areas following safety protocols

• Collaborate with cage, accounting, and security teams to support smooth operations

• Maintain confidentiality of financial information and guest data
