Compliance Manager

Roers Companies seeks a Compliance Manager to lead regulatory oversight across our real estate, rental, and leasing portfolio. In this role, you will design and manage compliance programs covering fair housing, landlord-tenant, licensing, and investment regulations. You'll conduct audits, investigate issues, and train property and corporate teams. Working in our entrepreneurial, collaborative culture, you'll partner with legal and operations to support new developments and strategic projects while ensuring risk is managed and standards are consistently met.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain compliance policies and procedures for Roers Companies' real estate, rental, and leasing operations

• Monitor federal, state, and local real estate, fair housing, and landlord-tenant regulations and ensure company-wide adherence

• Conduct regular internal audits of leasing, property management, and investment activities to identify and mitigate compliance risks

• Investigate and resolve compliance issues, incidents, and tenant or regulator complaints, recommending corrective actions

• Prepare and deliver compliance training for property managers, leasing teams, and corporate staff

• Collaborate with legal, operations, and leadership to assess new projects and initiatives for regulatory impact

• Maintain accurate compliance records, reports, and documentation for internal leadership and regulatory agencies

• Partner with external regulators, legal counsel, and auditors to support examinations and inquiries Required Skills
