Cloud Platform Engineer
Job Description
GovCIO LLC is seeking a Cloud Platform Engineer to design, build, and operate secure, scalable cloud solutions for federal agencies. You'll implement infrastructure as code, automate deployments, and optimize performance and reliability across multi-cloud environments. Partner with cybersecurity and DevSecOps teams to meet FedRAMP and agency requirements, enable containerized and serverless workloads, and support CI/CD pipelines. You'll troubleshoot complex production issues, mentor teams on cloud best practices, and help modernize legacy systems to improve mission outcomes and citizen services.
Responsibilities

Design and implement secure, scalable cloud platforms for federal customers

Develop and maintain infrastructure as code for repeatable deployments

Automate provisioning, configuration, and patching of cloud resources

Support and enhance CI/CD pipelines for application teams

Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting for high availability and performance

Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to meet Fed

RAMP and agency security standards

Troubleshoot and resolve complex cloud and platform issues in production

Guide migration of legacy systems into modern cloud-native architectures

Document architectures, runbooks, and standard operating procedures
